Hong Kong FinTech Week 2021, co-organised by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and InvestHK, was held from 1 to 5 November 2021 for the first time in a hybrid physical and online format. With the theme of “Scaling FinTech Future Together”, this year’s Hong Kong FinTech Week featured 300 speakers, over 400 exhibitors and 39 international trade delegations, and attracted over 4 million online views from 87 economies around the world to learn more about Hong Kong’s rapidly growing fintech ecosystem. Notable policy measures and proposals were announced by the Government to set the global fintech agenda and secure Hong Kong’s future as the most attractive international centre for the research and development of fintech. Representatives of the Association’s FinTech Committee participated online.
