On 8 December 2021, the 2021 Asia Financial Cooperation Association (“AFCA”) FinTech Cooperation Committee Annual Meeting and Standardization Symposium was held online. The meeting introduced and discussed a series of standards issued and will be adopted by the AFCA FinTech Cooperation Committee. The meeting was attended by nearly 50 representatives comprising industry associations, exchanges, domestic and foreign members from banking, securities, insurance and wealth management sectors. CCB (Asia) was represented at the meeting. The participants indicated that they would actively support the development of AFCA standards and systematic framework.
