On 18 December 2021, the Award Presentation Ceremony of the Hong Kong Young Historians Award and the Award Scheme for the Study of Chinese History in Secondary Schools in Hong Kong (2021) was held at the Rayson Huang Theatre of the University of Hong Kong. The guests of honour included Mr. Kevin Yeung Yun-hung, Secretary for Education, and Mr. Zhang Xiang, President of the University of Hong Kong. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Yeung said that the Award Scheme could enhance students’ ability to think independently and to study history, as well as cultivate their sense of home and country.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Association sponsored of the event. Mr Kevin Chan, Executive Vice President of the Association, presented the “Commendation Award for the Primary Division of the Award Scheme for the Study of Chinese History in Secondary Schools in Hong Kong”.
