On 27 October 2021, an exchange session for Chinese and Korean financial institutions in Hong Kong was held at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Wanchai, organised by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong. Around 80 representatives from Chinese and Korean financial institutions in the banking, securities, asset management and insurance sectors met to exchange views. Mr. Sun Yu, Chairman of the Association, Mr. Li Xiguang, Vice Chairman of the Association, representatives from eight member organisations, and Executive Vice President of the Association attended the seminar. In his speech, Chairman Sun expressed his hope that Chinese and Korean financial institutions in Hong Kong could further enhance their friendship and mutual trust so that they could pursue common development in such key areas as Renminbi business, RCEP free trade zone business, and green finance.
